papih Posted May 2, 2008 Share #1 Â Posted May 2, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Bill, Â Do you have any tips on making the pictures look the same with the originals when posted in flicr? Apparently i have to use SRGB instead of adobeRGB, correct? But i done that, it's slightly better, but still looks desaturated / washed out. I dont have a callibrated monitor but i use mbp for editing purpose, all images are edited using LR, and exported to srgb. When i view it in mac's preview it looks the same, but put it in the website, and it looks terrible. Any cure for this? Â Thank you

in here my son's face and the dark camouflage in his shirt also appear lighter.  thanks again for any help.
wparsonsgisnet Posted May 2, 2008 Share #3 Â Posted May 2, 2008 Papih, I think your last two posts should be posted in the Digital Forum. Â I don't use Lightroom or flickr and there are lots here who do, but they don't necessarly read this thread. Post with a title that suits your question. Â I do have a couple of questions. Â 1. Is the image posted in the Forum lighter than on your monitor? This may be the result of a color-space mismatch. Your M8 is set to sRGB, right? I believe that's the way you should keep you space set. Post your question and get the answer from the real monsters. Â 2. Or, is the color in your images lighter than you see if with your eyes. They can't be calibrated, naturally. They only control your artistic efforts. That's always a dilemma. Â Please post so real guys can advise you. Â Regards,
