peter_n Posted May 6, 2008 Share #23 Posted May 6, 2008 I hardly ever shoot color, but last year I went to Fiji for a while and was looking around for some color film that matched the speed of my B&W film (Agfapan 100). I read some good reviews of Reala and so used it and I'm very glad that I did. It is just really very natural looking and without drama. The little Indian girl's dress below could look really awful in many color films but Reala renders it very well. I find it useful to have a single film speed in my two cameras and usually use either ISO 100 or 400 depending on the time of year and location. Welcome, dear visitor! abrewer Posted May 9, 2008 Share #24 Posted May 9, 2008 I guess the take-home message is that just about all of us like Reala; and have another favorite or two that we use for specific purposes Another one of my choices last year that I liked was the Fuji 160 C Here's a shot from Daytona last winter that shows pretty well its punchier color than Reala (very similar to the Kodak 100 and 400 UC films IMO): Welcome, dear visitor!
