Börrie Posted April 27, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 27, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hey as i found a adapter to use the R-lenses with the Canon EOS system, i am now wondering if there is also one for Minolta AF / Sony A. The diameter of the A-bayonet is larger than the one of the EOS, so technically it should fit. But i didn't manage to find a suitable adapter in the web. Does anyone of you know if there is one, and where i can buy it?
Advertisement Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Hi Börrie, Take a look here Adapter Leica R to Minolta AF?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cnguyen Posted May 1, 2008 Share #2 Posted May 1, 2008 I asked the same question in various Sony/Alpha cameras forums but never got an answer either. If I can mount my R lenses on a Sony a700 that would be a killer combo while waiting for the r10. You can mount nikon, pentax, old minolta lenses on your alpha camera but I haven't yet seen an adapter fopr Leica R to Sony yet. You can find the other adapters fron the bay or bh photo video.
