Danke , Tom

2Bébèrt Posted April 25, 2008 Share #3 Posted April 25, 2008 -open lightroom -go to preferences -under the import tab: check; show import dialog when a camera card is connected -insert original M8 usb cable in MacPro -power your M8 on -insert the usb cable in the camera should work this way (macbook + OSX10.5.2 + LR 1.4.1 + M8 version 1.201 + 2 Gb Scandisk Exreme III) works better than my cheap cardreader (lacie)

tom-vio Posted April 28, 2008 Author Share #7 Posted April 28, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Some days ago I received a M8 from Leica . After taking some pictures from our kids I wanted to connect this camera the same way I did with my Fuji S2 Pro to my Mac Pro on OS 10.5 . Without results . I found no possibility to change the preferences neither in Adobe Lightroom nor in iPhoto or Digital Image Capture from Apple . The two discs from Leica ,Capture one and Capture one LE couldn´t be opened . Finally I made two partitions on my harddrive and reinstalled Mac OS 10.4 . There my camera was detected and the images could be loaded . Now I am looking for some help to install the Leica software on my Mac Pro 10.5 and to delete the 10.4 partition . Would a card reader be the only solution . And what about my iPod . For my SLR Fuji I could take my iPod as external hard drive to copy my images during holidays with the family in order to clear all images from my camera to have enough space for more shootings . Has anyone any idea what I need for the Leica to do the same . Thanks for help , Tom
