Hank Johnson Posted April 10, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 10, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi. For many years I've been making black & white slides with the ELDIA contact printer. They are a lot more fun than you might think. I use Eastman fine grain release positive film, type 5302 and develop it for a full 2 minutes in Dektol. I get some very snappy slides. Well, I was just about out of that film so I called Kodak and the minimum order was 1000 feet. I searched around and found 100 foot rolls available at: Kodak Films including Electron Microscopy Film The price was very reasonable and delivery was quick and the film was fresh. So if you got a lot of black & white negatives dig out that ELDIA printer and go for it. Henry Johnson
