austking Posted April 8, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 8, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently acquired an M-6 TTL to go along with a IIIf I bought in 1956. I notice that the meter gives me the same exposure with and without a K2 yellow filter. Is this the usual case? Dave
Advertisement Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Hi austking, Take a look here M-6 Meter and Filters. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
spydrxx Posted April 9, 2008 Share #2 Posted April 9, 2008 B&H lists their K2 filters as +0.75 to +1.0 stop depending on the manufacturer.
austking Posted April 9, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted April 9, 2008 Thanks for responding. I know the compensation is .75 to 1.0 stops. The M-6 manual suggests that the meter may compensate for the yellow filter but not for orange, red, etc. So I was hoping I wouldn't have to do the compensation for the yellow manually. I guess not.
