Advertisement Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Hi john79456, Take a look here Have Magnum Gone Digital?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest chris_h Posted June 28, 2006 Share #2 Posted June 28, 2006 I think, Magnum-photographers are (also) going the way to the best picture ... and if they can do it - they will do it.
TimF Posted June 28, 2006 Share #3 Posted June 28, 2006 I'm sure some will have gone digital for at least some of their work. If clients demand it, they have to do so.
hm1912 Posted June 28, 2006 Share #4 Posted June 28, 2006 I am pretty sure that Bruce Gilden uses an M6. Check out his slideshow, at the end of it there is a self portrait. Guess what he is holding.... http://todayspictures.slate.com/20060628/
franklinh Posted June 28, 2006 Share #5 Posted June 28, 2006 That's a cool slide show by Bruce Gilden. Yes, of course it's an M6.....and do you know you can get those Fashion Magazine pubs online at Magnum.
hm1912 Posted June 29, 2006 Share #6 Posted June 29, 2006 One of these days I'd like to try a M6 or other M camera. I was browsing the Magnum webpage the other day and I noticed that they now have a magazine out. No subscriptions are available, however.
agf Posted June 29, 2006 Share #7 Posted June 29, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Several Magnum photographers now shoot digital on a regular basis including Harvey, Pinkhassov, Scianna, Steele-Perkins, Wylie, Majoli, Hoepker, Fusco, De Keyzer, Vink, Barbey and now Gruyaert. Others, like Alex Webb, still stick to film.
