chilihead Posted March 23, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 23, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone know for sure which clip-on viewfinder is the best for a 24mm asph and an "M"? The reason I ask is some people say a 21 works for them, and some say a 24 is best, while others say you can use a 28. I have looked at the Voigtlander 21 finder and its pretty nice - clear and bright. I also have looked at a Voigtlander 28, also nice. But I have not seen a Leica 24 viewfinder. So, if anyone has got some solid user info on matching a 24 Asph to a .72 M4 - and the best finder to use with this set up, I would really appreciate that info!!! Advertisement Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Hi chilihead, Take a look here 21 or 24 or 28 viewfinder. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
peter_n Posted March 23, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 23, 2008 There are threads on the Leica 24mm finder on photo.net and probably here too. Apparently the 24mm finder has the most accurate framelines, the CV finder is good and the Zeiss 25/28 is considered the allround best. Personally I have the Leica 24 and two CV 25s, and I'm about to sell my Leica 24 on eBay. I'm frameline happy and I've already lost one VF and the CV is a lot cheaper to replace.
