dkCambridgeshire Posted March 12, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 12, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just acquired a Nagel 74 6x9 folding roll film camera with a leitz Elmar 10.5cm f4.5 lens and Compur 1sec. - 1/300 + B&T ... no model name visible , no rangefinder , no lens movements but McKeown shows "LIBRETTE" as being model number 74 .. but makes no mention of Leitz Elmar variant. Hope to take some pix later this week but meantime have found no reference to this model anywhere .. but aware that 127 film model used Leitz 50/3.5 Elmar. This 74 has folding wire frame finder as well as the optical finder. Has anyone seen this model listed anywhere? I am aware of history of Nagel Camera Co. ref Retina development etc. Cheers dunk
Advertisement Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Hi dkCambridgeshire, Take a look here Nagel 74 with Leitz Elmar 10.5cm f4.5 lens. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dkCambridgeshire Posted March 13, 2008 Author Share #2 Posted March 13, 2008 I assume the 10.5cm f4 Elmar lens on this camera is the design on which the 1932 105/6.3 Mountain Elmar was based. dunk
