PJRiley Posted March 8, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 8, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been playing with my new M6 and just love it. I found a post here that showed proper exposure is achieved when the red dot and both arrows all line up when metering. I have only had the arrows light up separately to indicate over/underexposure, or the dot alone; have not seen all three. Am I achieving correct exposure if only the red dot appears? Advertisement Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Hi PJRiley, Take a look here M6TTL led light question. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
rolfe_tessem Posted March 8, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 8, 2008 In a word, yes. The other information was incorrect. The dot and both arrows should never illuminate simultaneously. Enjoy!
rubenkok Posted March 8, 2008 Share #3 Posted March 8, 2008 Hi Mary, Here you can find the M6TTL manual. Maybe this is some help? All the best Ruben
PJRiley Posted March 8, 2008 Author Share #4 Posted March 8, 2008 Thanks, everyone; you've solved my problem. My camera is an M6TTL but I checked my manual and it says 'M6'. My exposure meter guide in the manual does not show a red dot for correct exposure; instead it shows the two red arrows face to face. Ruben, your post shows me exactly what my meter is doing, so now I get it! Thank you very much. Mary
