jrc Posted March 7, 2008 Share #4 Â Posted March 7, 2008 Yes, it can be done, and a number of commercial businesses offer it. The most common place to find it was around universities, where people need to convert digital to slides for higher-resolution slide shows, where digital projectors aren't good enough. Here's a service in my local area, which might give you some tips for searches in your area (e.g. googling "sapphire.") stunsworth Posted March 7, 2008 Share #7 Â Posted March 7, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's quite common these days - and allowed - for people to enter slides made from digital files in camera club slide competitions. Seems wrong to me, one of the things about slides is that you have to get it right in camera.

dave_d Posted March 7, 2008 Share #10 Â Posted March 7, 2008 Praus Productions in Rochester, NY (Praus Productions Inc. [4photolab.com]) does digital to film and they look great. I believe the cost is $2.50 USD per 35mm slide but don't quote me on this. Edgar Praus has been in the pro lab business for years and provides top quality service.
