Guest moonwrack Posted March 7, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 7, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Am I imagining it or am I right in thinking that the 50mm framelines on my M4-P are larger than those on my M6? The only external difference is that the M4-P viewfinder has a stepped front frame.
Advertisement Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Hi Guest moonwrack, Take a look here 50mm frame sizes on M4-P and M6. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
hans_s Posted March 7, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 7, 2008 You're correct. On the early M4P's with brass top plate the framelines for the 50mm lens are a bit wider. They are made for lenses foucusing down to 1 meter. On the later M4P's with the flush windows with zinc top plate the framelines are identical to the ones on the M6's; they are from then on adapted for lenses that focuses domn to 0.7 meters.
