stunsworth Posted February 22, 2008 Author Share #4 Posted February 22, 2008 Gotcha - its a Rollei Picture That's exactly what I was thinking when I cropped it. My Rolleiflex is currently with a friend in Germany. When the weather improves I must drive over and reclaim it <grin> I actually had the idea for this photograph when I was watching the Jonathan Meades program about the North of Europe last night on BBC4. There was a part where he was walking though some woodland and I though the tree trunks made a very simple but pleasant composition. So off I went to the nearest wood today. An excellent picture which shows really well how the M8 can hold its own with medium format. Ah! the days of my Lubitel! Yer don't get the light leaks these days. I put it down to this so-called global warmin. By the way Steve is this Pennington? Its a nice place to say its a Nu-Lab "cuntry park"
stunsworth Posted February 22, 2008 Author Share #6 Posted February 22, 2008 Keith, no it's not Pennington. It's in the same town - Leigh - but this is Lilford park, maybe a mile and a half from Pennington.
