vic vic Posted September 3, 2006 Author Share #21 Posted September 3, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) thanks john :-)) well - if leica want as an ad then why not. i defenetly think that the additional approach to m system campaign is needed. every potential byuer of m camera (espeically film based) knows very well the quality issue - the best unltimate tool etc. they dont need ads for it - just $$$. a more sexier approach (not neccessarly with nude woman), a more emotional engagement would be better here i think :-))
Advertisement Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Hi vic vic, Take a look here naked woman and naked mp camera. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
uulrich Posted September 3, 2006 Share #22 Posted September 3, 2006 :-) Yes; this is a good approach. Turning the nightmares of refurbishing her flat into a $ucce$$. Good idea. :-) In the end there will be some shekel to spare for a black MP too. With the new one you do similar - just for the PC. :-)
vic vic Posted September 3, 2006 Author Share #23 Posted September 3, 2006 ha ha uwe - didnt think about it - but ok - i will take your words :-)))) ah - no, no need for black mp, i really love mine:-)) ha ha... but hey leica - listen to your costumers - they like the photo and the marketing idea as well. no worries - the money will get back to u immidiatly - i want noctilux :-)))))
uulrich Posted September 3, 2006 Share #24 Posted September 3, 2006 :-) It's always a good idea to be open minded. A Noct will do her nicely. Both 'hers', of course.
vic vic Posted September 3, 2006 Author Share #25 Posted September 3, 2006 :-))) uwe... it is up to leica now... if so, wit hthis or other photo, i will give leica steriouds to its marketing. they just miss the "passion" element.. we have it (with the leica cameras and open mind of course) :-))))
Guest umb Posted September 3, 2006 Share #26 Posted September 3, 2006 Absolutely beautiful images. Attractive woman + attractive camera = classic imagery. If it would only be so easy.
kodaktrix Posted September 4, 2006 Share #27 Posted September 4, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Very nice idea! But I would rather have it in B&W. And for Gods sake, give her a lens too, I think she can handle it. :-)) Best regards Oliver
vic vic Posted September 4, 2006 Author Share #28 Posted September 4, 2006 thask umb and oliver :-) umb - u r rite - not that easy but from the other hand - it is a very good starting point as a "subject matter" :-)) oliver - i iwll upload today some other images (not the originals which are b/w indeed since i dont have here my external hard disk and neither the prints). there is lens on them - but very different approach. read alberts comments and my coments to him - he just explains it perfectly :-)
Guest imported_stefan_r Posted September 8, 2006 Share #29 Posted September 8, 2006 Sorry to say that: This is just naked - nothing more. Poor light, partly wrong cropping, bad colors. p.s. saw your webpage, I know you can do better well, it goes together with the other stuff we see around here..... Guest imported_stefan_r Posted September 8, 2006 Share #30 Posted September 8, 2006 Absolutely beautiful images. Attractive woman + attractive camera = classic imagery. I object strongly to the naked images. Put a lens on that camera! Good shots and I like the use of the reflection in the mirror to give eye contact. since this Vivtor guy writes his fantastic, terrific, again a wonderful image comments under every single picture what comes into the leice leica leica forum.. he gets back what he needs... these are masterpieces! here in this particular forum. show them to a gallerist, he will through you out of his door: "please leave me in peace with that crap!" just a recommendation, tell the girl to take a little bit of sun.... just a little bit, she looks like a peace of crude meat. vic vic Posted September 9, 2006 Author Share #31 Posted September 9, 2006 oh dear... stefan, r u ok???? i mean i read some of your posts on my photos... really dont mind about bad comments or what ever it is, usually it only makes it more spicy. but u obviously go far too personal, with a bit wilde acusations say it is crap say what ever u want about photo if thats what u feel, but if u want to say something personal and something bothers u, just write a private messege... u know a matter of minimal "good manners" :-))) and by the way, if i comment to some photo with good words, it just means that i like it. there are people who make good photos, some regularly (like u for example), some less, some randomly succeed making fantastic photograph, some do it with leica and some without... whats the point - u over-exegerating a bit, dont u think so???? about ron's zitata that u use... well ron doesnt like it and u too... no problems. u dont like light inthere, compo or whatever - that's ok, i can say that in many of your pics i dont like somethings... but i dont jump on it with "i would do it that way, i would do it this way"... i prefer to get your point first of all, cause i suppose u do know what is light and compo, and if u made it that way, and even more, if u choosed to show it, maybe u have something about it. really i keep on with comment only because i love your works and respect u as photographer (even if more than half of what u do, naturally i would do other way :-))))) focus your statement or argument next time :-))))

I know this is modern in these virtual internet times... on the surface we write nice things, in the background we talk bad about people... not me! when I have to say something I do it in public. nothing is bothering me... I just wrote what I see and think. I repeat: I just wrote what I see and think. what means "good manners"? superficial comments like these ones? "cool photos jaak" "amazing amazig and again - perfect photo." "fantastic photo.." "great photo" "great mark - love this photo very much." “terrific” “terrific peace of art” “amazing again” are this good manner comments? I call this superficial "you give me, I give you... " comments. every picture is a masterpiece... we're surrounded by superlatives which have long lost their original meanings and have become every day bla bla small-talk. open your eyes! the photographic world is bigger as this leica forum. here you can find real "art prints" whatever this means lens culture: photography and shared territories Jan Grarup Blueeyes Magazine Carl de Keyzer Photography Schildt Fine Art Photography/Mainpage Âëàäèìèð Êëàâèõî-Òåëåïíåâ. vic vic Posted September 9, 2006 Author Share #33 Posted September 9, 2006 hi stefan... ok, i will go your way about "private messeges"... no problems, lets make it public:-))) no worries, i dont mind about your long speeches (just pay attention, the naked provokative photographs were uploaded only after i saw u back to the forum, with the replies about some of my photos. i just had an intuition that u will be important part there, although was not totaly sure how would be your first reaction and u surprised me with unacpacted personal attack without any doubt. the negative "psycology" between us was there already, with some pointless comment exchanges we had about one of my photos (the face too dar, no it is samll picture etc:-)), so i thought and hoped that u will make "spicy" comments)... about prvete messeges... no... i related it only to the "personal attack". talk whatever u want about the photos, this is why they are here. but u got too personal, and actually, i think it only reduced the value of your almost cristal clear arguments about the "woman with long vintage lens". about great artists.... u will be surprised as i see, about how much those listed artists and "intituations" are not-strange to me. believe me, im very educated, foramly and non-formaly, about art, photography and many other things. i mean very educated. and both me and u know very well, that "masterpeices" are not a matter of good or bad comments. not my "terrific" coments will make it masterpeice, and not your "anti-terrific" will make it "junk". again, people make "fantastc" photographs even if they dont belong to this list or other i may make myself. a little respect to them even if they are not next josef koudelka. it is not about "give me and i wil give u", i dont need it, and above all, im just not this kind of guy as u discribe. so a very bad move from u about this acusation, since if u do it, at least go deeper and look at the person u talk with. those are the words we describe things "fantastic, great etc"... no body thinks that only becasue i said it, it will turn their work to masterpeice. it will only may encourage them - and what's bad in that especialy when they really make good photos???? :-))) put it in some proportion, please :-)))) and again, as we are both active photographers with highly inlightened minds and knowledge about this art... it is a little "naive" from your said to put the word "masterpeices" as agenda here. and if not "naivity" is the point here, than it is just dis-respect to me and yourslef. if, i at my 29 years old wilde mind can understand "bad manners", im sure u can understand it too :-)))

I don’t know you! for sure you are a sympatic guy, at least the picture of you looks like.... I don’t have any personal problem with you, I only have a problem with superficial small talk like "terrific picture again". that’s all and that’s what I wrote! """"and both me and u know very well, that "masterpeices" are not a matter of good or bad comments. not my "terrific" coments will make it masterpeice, and not your "anti-terrific" will make it "junk". again, people make "fantastc" photographs even if they dont belong to this list or other i may make myself. a little respect to them even if they are not next josef koudelka." with one difference, that with critiques they can learn (if they want), with small talk bla bla they wont... respect yes, that's it, not lies, but the truth about the picture. where can I see these ""fantastic"" pictures? here in this forum? wish you a nice weekend. vic vic Posted September 9, 2006 Author Share #35 Posted September 9, 2006 ha ha stefan... it is not especially for u:-))) i was just hoping that u will participate in this one activly, and thanks for doing so :-))) so now we are "lined" here. no need for personal stuff and alike. hopefully :-)))) your opinion and your issues that u rais here are too valuable for it :-))) about our differance, sure we are different... but not as much as u think here. here, take a look at this comment of mine : http://www.leica-camera-user.com/people/4774-another-slavic-lovely.html where are great pictures here on the forum??? well, "fantastic jaak" makes really good photos. "this is why why make photos" about some comment to "inocents playing" - with two kids sitting and playing with themsleves and "p***ing". u just should not accept from everybody to be imidiatly antuine de'agata:-))) common, lets look at it more realistic. give encouragement, they really deserve it for many of the photos they do and post here (and not becasue they use leicas). it might be just as useful to them than pure critique. do u have intentions like this for yourself, with such a highly riased bars... u r welcomed, i apriciate u as photographer and your bars as well. u r fantastic photographer (really, no exegerations here form my side, u know that i love your works, i said it already). do i have intentions like this for myself, u guess it... your comments are welcomed, privetly or publically, and do it the way u think and belive of course :-)))
