Advertisement Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Hi michali, Take a look here Big Boss . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Marquinius Posted January 21, 2008 Share #2 Posted January 21, 2008 Mike, As cats can ... concentration 100%. I take it, you were also concentrating with a 90mm and all. Or is this a supercrop from a shot taken at 200 yards ? Fabulously sharp and nice bokeh! Marco

psquared Posted January 22, 2008 Share #4 Posted January 22, 2008 Mike, Another super picture. Looking at the background blur, it doesn't look like a "super crop." Can't wait for the next installment. Peter
michali Posted January 22, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted January 22, 2008 Marco, Martin & Peter- Thanks for the feedback it is always appreciated! We got to between 8 to 10 metres of this big boy, this was not a crop. As there's no hunting on this reserve the animals are not spooked, so we're able to get up fairly close, as you can see from our pics. However there is a line one doesn't cross & you have to be always aware of this. Having said this, we never forget that these are wild animals and will cause you serious problems if you do not respect this. Thanks again, MIKE
