redwriter1 Posted January 19, 2008 Share #1 Posted January 19, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am selling a collection from an estate and there are lots of Leica Leitz lens, filters, parts, hoods and things that I don't know what they are. I want to describe them accurately, but I'm a little clueless on these vintage items. Anyone willing to give me a hand in figuring out what this stuff is? My office is right off I24 and Harding. Shoot me an email at redwriter1@yahoo.com Thanks! Kay

redwriter1 Posted January 19, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted January 19, 2008 The thing I'm having a really hard time finding out about is these two Leica motors. One is marked 768 and the other is marked 1843. I'll post some pics of the other things I can't identify in a little while. Thanks!

redwriter1 Posted January 20, 2008 Author Share #8 Posted January 20, 2008 Can anyone tell me what these things are?
leitz_not_leica Posted January 20, 2008 Share #9 Posted January 20, 2008 It doesn't matter if you're not going to use these items. At auction they possess little value, i.e. more trouble than it's worth, IMO.
redwriter1 Posted January 20, 2008 Author Share #10 Posted January 20, 2008 Ok thanks, guess I'll just toss em. Thanks for replying.
echorec Posted January 20, 2008 Share #11 Posted January 20, 2008 Don´t toss them. Many of them are filters, adapters some lens hoods etc. You should get some money if you sell them on ebay. If you are selling lots of other Leica items, just write "check my others items" and the collectors will find these accesoires too.
echorec Posted January 20, 2008 Share #12 Posted January 20, 2008 ... or just sell everything to me ::serious::
redwriter1 Posted January 21, 2008 Author Share #13 Posted January 21, 2008 I'm intelligent enough to know what a filter , lens, adapters etc are. What they are worth to anyone or what cameras they fit is a highly specialized breadth of knowledge. That's why I came here. I'll just put them up on eBay for 99 cents and I guess the market will tell me, but I would really like to at least be able to put something in the description instead of just.. "here is a leitz filter". thanks for all your help. Kay
