Lewis Posted January 17, 2008 Share #1  Posted January 17, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I hope this isn't a crime against humanity posting in this section with a Ricoh! Anyway here are a few snaps of my new Ricoh GRD 2 (Which is a replacement for my D-Lux 3). I have had a bit of inspiration from some people on here, and disguised it slightly with some black tape. Mainly because I aim to use it as in London for street photo's, and already had some unwanted attention on the tube while trying to take some shots. The front piece of tape is purely to diguise the 'Ricoh GRD' logo-I actually think it looks cooler in black, and I also stuck a tiny piece over the power button as there is a very bright green LED which draws attention to the camera when it is on also! Last but not least is the LCD protector-a DICAIN one from sweden. It's 0.5mm thick hard plastic and is an excellent buy to pretect the camera whilst in the pocket-only £16 too Anyway here 'she' is!!

Lewis Posted January 18, 2008 Author Share #5 Â Posted January 18, 2008 Ha thanks guys! I am happy with it, and after owning the Leica D Lux 3 for a year I can say I prefer this camera-handling wise and just general design-I find it excellent. It's apparent that they put a lot of thought into the design to make it as user friendly as possible. Here are a few pics from it so far....Pub in Kentish town, London. I have PP'd these quite a bit but I still really like the results. Feel free to comment away. Â Â And yes, I am aware they are grainy but that's intentional. erl Posted January 18, 2008 Share #11 Â Posted January 18, 2008 O.K. guys. This is a Leica Forum and I am responding to complaint about the content. Rather than delete it, I am closing the thread with advice that the original poster perhaps seek aRicoh forum to post Ricoh pics. The rules her fobid non Leica pics. Â If you wish to disagree with my decision there are several other Mods and Admin to approach about reversing my decision. Nothing personal here, just applying rules upon request to uphold them. Please continue to enjoy the gear. It looks interesting.
