For anyone that is using the 50mm f/1.4 R on a 4/3 camera, can you tell how you like it for portraits compared to say the 80mm f/1.4? I am thinking on a 2x crop camera the 50mm is just about the perfect focal length for portraits. Examples of both if you have them please. Or any other R lens for portraits? Thanks

I guess this will open up the old argument, that the lens will be the lens and will have its characteristics, only that its borders will be cropped as tough by frisk....or not depending which side of the coin. For what it is worth I reckon the 50f1.4 is a nice look. At portrait distance you can turn the out of focus into a smear if you chose to, if thats what you like, and you can still keep the head in relatively good focus, if that is what you like, or vice versa. With a ninety you are a little more limited in your choice.
