effstop Posted 19 hours ago Share #1 Posted 19 hours ago Advertisement (gone after registration) Here's an odd one, for me at least and I'm hoping someone can shed some light. I just received a book on the q3 43 and there are almost 3 pages on the subject matter. The author explains how it operates, its uses and drawbacks. I've owned the camera for a while now and, even with the 4.0 firmware upgrade, I see nowhere - even in the spec sheet - how this can be implemented. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding? Quote from book: "Making Use of the Integrated ND Filter Many high-end cameras, like as the Leica Q3 43 model, have a useful built-in ND (Neutral Density) filter that lets users adjust the amount of light that enters the lens without changing the color balance. It's particularly helpful when you wish to use slower shutter speeds or wider apertures than would be feasible in bright light. To maximize your photos, let's examine what a built-in ND filter does, how it operates, and when to use it." Thanks

effstop Posted 18 hours ago Author Share #3 Posted 18 hours ago Concur. The more I go through the book, I'm of the opinion that it reads as though it was compiled with AI.
