peterkinchington Posted 11 hours ago Share #1 Posted 11 hours ago Advertisement (gone after registration) I have two L39 lenses they are the summitar 50mm f/2 and Industar 26M 52mm f/2.8. I wanted to adapt my extensive collection of minolta manual slr lenses to my Leica IIIF and Fed2 bodies. So I made an adapter with appropriate flange distance calculations other lenses such as Nikon F mount lenses could be used. I explain how I built this adapter here.

Chris Hi Chris I built the first adapter using a minolta rear lens cap and Leica screw mount body cap. The second lathed metal adapter was made by Rod Reynolds the president of the Australian Photographic Collectors Society for me - based on my design. He did a wonderful job.
