compman10 Posted 4 hours ago Share #1 Posted 4 hours ago Advertisement (gone after registration) I have read in some other threads that some of the S lenses share the same lens hood (ex. 24mm and 30-90mm). I was wondering if anyone knows if the Leica 120mm and the Leica 180mm share the same hood? I just bought a used Leica 120mm without a lens hood and can't find any for sale in the US. I do see a decent deal on a lightly used Leica 180mm hood. Looking at the technical data on Leica's website, it would seem as if the Leica 180mm hood is slightly longer and skinnier than the 120mm hood: Hood Length (based on difference in length to bayonet mount): Leica 120mm: 74mm Leica 180mm: 81mm Largest diameter: Leica 120mm: 103mm Leica 180mm: 96.6mm Just wanted to see if anyone who has both lenses can confirm. Thanks!
