Can I get the square focusing field back on my Q3

Maybe there is a simple solution for this, but I just can’t find it.  Several weeks ago, my Q3 stopped showing the square focusing device in the center of the field, and is now showing the + sign instead.   Is there any way to get the square back?  I did the update today, but I still can’t seem to get the square back.  It was just so much easier for me to see.  I am using autofocus.  Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much, but, unless I am misunderstanding, I don’t think that will help.  The problem that I am having is that I no longer have the square focusing patch, and instead I now have a + for a focusing point.  This happened before the update.  It’s probably something small that I am overlooking, but I can’t figure it out.  Thank you!!

When you see the +, put two fingers on the display and pull them apart (the motion is the opposite of pinching). That will switch from spot mode and bring back the box, plus let you determine how big the box is. These two focusing more were combined in the new update.
