Magnification + Manual focus w/ SL3 & SL3s

Love the SL3s but the manual focus experience is not the same as SL2s. We all know with the SL3/s, when zoomed in it goes kinda blurry/ fuzzy.

Do we think they will update firmware in the near future to fix this? K hope they do it soon because its driving me crazy haha.

The manual focusing is a fly by wire system and pretty hard to focus manually but using it to check the auto focus accuracy is how I use it. I haven't noticed any blur other than what I understand about the FBW focusing system. I will have another look at it tomorrow, maybe I miss seeing it.

Pretty sure we’re talking about using manual focus lenses here. The SL3 cuts the resolution by a significant amount when punching into to get focus (compared to the sl2 series)

I didn't know about this resolution cut, it seems to be a pretty bad choice.. I love the SL2-S manual focusing mode for that..

yeah, it is the only reason why I ended up getting the Nikon ZF instead.
