Hi All

Ive just recently bought a used Leica Q for some personal work. I use The SL2-S and M11 for personal and I had a Leica Q many years ago.

I am just checking over the camera and have what may be a very silly question

When I look through the viewfinder and press my eye up close to it and look as far left right, up and down as possible I seen what looks like the innder workings of the camera. Like a cardboard frame around the viewfinder. As I said I'm used to the later models, but is this normal or is there an issue with the camera?

No. Take it to the seller or your nearest Leica AD. And avoid SPAM from the post above!
