jay83091 Posted Tuesday at 03:56 AM Share #1 Posted Tuesday at 03:56 AM Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi All, I am looking to buy a 28mm lens and little confused about the line up. My local Leica store sells the following lenses and I don’t understand if there are any significant differences. (Price differs by $1000+). Any tips would be much appreciated. 1. LEICA SUMMICRON-M 28MM F/2 ASPH. LENS, BLACK ANODIZED 2. LEICA SUMMICRON-M 28 F/2 ASPH., BLACK thank you
Advertisement Posted Tuesday at 03:56 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:56 AM Hi jay83091, Take a look here Leica SUMMICRON 28mm lens . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Kiwimac Posted Tuesday at 05:31 AM Share #2 Posted Tuesday at 05:31 AM Try and get the Leica part numbers. They will be similar to 11811 (for example only - that number is on a 50mm but the two you mention will have similar looking numbers) then you can identify them precisely. Banci Posted Tuesday at 07:24 AM Share #3 Posted Tuesday at 07:24 AM I guess they’re Summicron V1 and V2.. you can tell the difference just by looking at the hood; the newer ine has the screw-in metal hood like many modern lenses.
