cc16051987 Posted 10 hours ago Share #1 Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I've been trying to connect and transfer files from my brand new M11M to my pretty much new MacBook Pro M4 Pro, and am unable to do so. I've bought an Apple thunderbolt 5.0 cable which should be backwards compatible, tried it both on an iPad Pro with the FOTOS app, and nothing. I tried opening it via Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Capture One (which does pick it up in tethering mode- it recognizes an M11M with the lens is attached) but don't have access to the files. I tried Android File Transfer and it says it is unable to access the files. What am I doing wrong apart from not using an SD card? *Edit- Probably I was wrong about buying that Apple thunderbolt cable. Bronski Posted 10 hours ago Share #2 Posted 10 hours ago I have set my M11 to USB-setting "PTP", not "Apple MFi". While my M11 gets detected as a disk on Windows machines, on my Mac the M11 does not get mounted as a device, but only gets recognised as a camera when I use the import dialogue in Lightroom. IIRC the setting "Apple MFi" didn't let the camera appear at all, only "PTP" was helping me access my files.
cc16051987 Posted 10 hours ago Author Share #3 Posted 10 hours ago In PTP the Lightroom import worked! Many thanks
