It's been nine months since the combo was available and reports on this thread seem to have dwindled to a trickle.  Is that because the early adopters have all settled down happily, or because the LUX duo is a good idea that nevertheless falls into disuse?  Early enthusiasts like @kirkmc don't seem to post here any more. 

I came across this thread last week when searching for info on a possible purchase.  I can't figure out whether you all still love it or are bored by it.  How is it going?
