I am looking to get a M3 to get back on shooting film again.

I have the M10M which makes me very happy when using. Additionally I want to have a filmM to shoot. I was thinking of the M3 because it is lacking a meter and therefor allways works, it is also quite affordable.

I have the feeling there might be a drawback with closefoucsing, anyone have an idea?    On the M10M I can go to ,7m which I don't really need but is still nice to have.

How about frame lines? I also don't think there are for the 75?

M cameras including a meter will always work, too. It is merely the meter that won't work when the battery is dead (the only notable exception being the M7, which without batteries will only work with 1/60 and 1/125). And yes, the M3 does not have frame lines for 75mm lenses. Close focusing with the M3 usually stops at around 0,9m (as regards rangefinder coupling, the lens itself may of course be focused to shorter distances, but the rangefinder won't react below 0,9m).
