I can only take one lens for TL2, please advise

Hello! I wanted to ask everyone’s advice. Going to spend some time outdoors in the desert in the death valley area and then some city time in Las Vegas. Which lens would you take for the Leica tl2? Summicron 23mm f2 or the Summilux TL 35mm f1.4? I’m really trying to keep it to one lens, one camera because I know I always end up taking way too much gear and only one lens ever ends up getting used. Thanks, in advance.

What is your reason for changing your style? Shoot with the gear you always use, otherwise you will be confused.

Sometimes I like the speed of the 35mm Summilux, but the size and weight tends to wear on me. The picture quality I think it’s certainly a bit better than the 23mm, but the weight and size cant be beat on the 23mm, as well.

I used the TL23 extensively in Europe a few years back, and loved it. Mind you, I didn't have the TL35.

If the size and weight of the 35/1.4 is something that concerns you then the TL23 is the obvious choice.
