Alternative M EV1 Battery Charger

As the M EV1 does not come with it's own stand-alone charger, and having sold the Leica charger with my M11 shortly after purchasing the M EV1, I was on the lookout for an alternative battery charger.

I did consider buying the Leica model again, but it is insanely expensive, for what is, in reality, a pretty basic device.

After some research I settled on the LEICA BP-SCL7, BC-SCL7 (24026, 24027) DUAL USB BATTERY CHARGER BY WASABI POWER

This is a dual battery charger, that connects to your own USB power supply (Not a computer USB port), and will simultaneously charge two Leica batteries.

You can use the Wasabi supplied USB cable, or a suitable USB-C charging cable, to connect the Wasabi charger to your power brick, and the charger flashes two green LEDs when it powers up to show it's functioning correctly.

You then add one or two Leica batteries, which indicated charging via individual red flashing LEDs. When charged, each LED turns green.

Works as advertised, simple and easy to use, charging seems to take the same time as the OEM Leica charger, but I can do two batteries in the same time now!
