I sell gear when it hasn`t been used for a while ... can`t see any point in holding on to it.

Recently sold a black paint M4 and a dozen rolls of HP5 .

Held onto my 246 and a 50 cron , 28 elmarit and 90APO.

I can use them on my SL2S as I can 4 tl lenses left behind when I sold my CL ... if I want a lighter carry than my 90280 or 2490.

The camera which has caused the biggest "upset" is the Q3 43.

I`m having a tough time justifying anything else but that .... apart from maybe for the mono version

I can well imagine me just retaining those two ( providing I purchase the mono that is) and selling all the rest frankly .

For me, I always thought that what camera that I used was key to getting the shots that I wanted, but now I understand that I shoot for the sake of enjoying the shooting experience and surprisingly, I discovered that I really enjoy the experience of shooting film.

That resonates - though film and me are unlikely to come back together.  Darkroom access, chemicals, all that… a regret in some ways, but digital is where I am for now…

Well - pushed the button on a used Q3 along with a SL 28-70 as a light(er)weight travel lens for the SL2 from MBP. It feels like a bit of radical surgery, but my lightroom catalogue since I got the Q3 43 in February tells the story - I've only used the Q + SLs and never needed the M.  There'll be some nostalgia for sure - I had really good times with the M and loved the process of working with it in some situations - but I look forward to working with the pair of Q3s and the SL2s with what feels like a useful stable of working SL lenses.

Thanks for bearing with me!
