Two new cameras yesterday, thanks to a generous trade in offer from Leica for my two broken M9s which had been gathering dust, so to speak, with unrepairable sensor cover glass corrosion.

The SL came with a free M to L adapter and I found an R to L adapter online at a special Black Friday price.

i know there are some companies who can replace the cover glass but the Digital M has moved on hugely in the intervening , what, 15 years, so a glossy M11 was it. Not taking this one apart!

I headed off to my usual dealer looking for a package deal for spare batteries, chargers, the grip and maybe the 90-280 but in spite of spending £50k+ with him over the years, he was rather grumpy so I bought just one battery for the SL instead.
