Pelu2010 Posted 7 hours ago Share #1  Posted 7 hours ago Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi,  when I do client work I need a monitor up running with the bigger images so we can discuss the images we are producing. And when I am testing I need this feature too.  so I was surprised that with the M11M this worked flawlessly and effortlessly too. Just plug in the usbc cable and after some seconds the app switches into connectivity mode. everything perfect.  But then I switched to the Leica Q3 to make some wideangle images and it does not work.  After this I took out the Sl2s-s and it does not work.  So the question is, is this intensional or it’s just not enough dedication?  does this have to do with components that the m11m has which the q3 and Sl2s does not have.  I would appreciate if these feature would be possible along the ecosystems.  also a clean usbc to HDMI would be perfect. I just need the image enlarged or mirrored. That’s all.  thanxs Peter

PhotoCruiser Posted 7 hours ago Share #2  Posted 7 hours ago Not the Q3 and not tested on my Q2, but i used Fotos on iPad in wireless for macro work on my SL2 and it worked reasonable well. Have you also tried a wireless connected Tablet to either press the shutter or review the fotos? Can the Q3 connect thru USB or HDMI port to a external monitor, there are many, not expensive and in all sizes on the market. Chris

Chris  The q2 does not have a usbc port! that is why I switched to the q3.  I want to plug in a cable. The wireless version of the app is very laggy . Yes you can use this for some shots , but try to work 8 hours with a client with this and you will find, that it does not work.  it consumes a lot of battery too.  I just would like to use a cable and the app.

As until now nobody answered you may contact Leica Customer Service to ask them if and how Fotos and the Q3 + Sp2-S work with cable. Chris
