elambo Posted Friday at 05:20 PM Share #1 Posted Friday at 05:20 PM Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm trying desperately to keep the size of my kit compact. I have the Elmarit 18mm f/2.8, which is a great lens and very small, and I'm hoping to find another in that size category. But 24 or 28 or 35mm perhaps, a prime lens. LocalHero1953 Posted Friday at 09:28 PM Share #6 Posted Friday at 09:28 PM Of course if you want to go full on minimalist, then you could have fun with a pinhole lens.

The Minolta is definitely easier to find. It's an interesting option. Example images are intriguing.
tommonego@gmail.com Posted 8 hours ago Share #10 Posted 8 hours ago Canon 25 f3.5, 28 f2.8 LTMs are good lenses, favored by Gary Winograd, you will need an LTM to M adapter Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! . They are still small even with the M to L adapter. Same with the Voigtlander 21 f4 Skopar, but it is close to your 18mm. If you don't like manual focus, stay wide and zone focusing can be your friend. I havre used the 25 Canon, but replaced it with the 23 Summicron, the stop and a half extra light made the difference, I do use the 25 on my M8. I just noticed on eBay a Leica CL (film) with a 40mm Summicron-C for a price less than many offers of the same lens without the camera.
