I have the Elmarit 18mm f/2.8, which is a great lens and very small, and I'm hoping to find another in that size category. But 24 or 28 or 35mm perhaps, a prime lens. Same with the Voigtlander 21 f4 Skopar, but it is close to your 18mm. If you don't like manual focus, stay wide and zone focusing can be your friend. I havre used the 25 Canon, but replaced it with the 23 Summicron, the stop and a half extra light made the difference, I do use the 25 on my M8.
