The figures say very little difference between the two 3 milliseconds from memory? startup. The shutter press feels much snappier on the M10-R. You'll definitely notice it if you press it back to back or if you've shot with the m11 for a while and go back to the m10-r

KateStarr Posted 6 hours ago Share #24 Posted 6 hours ago I had the M10-R black paint and the M10M and swore I was never going to upgrade. That is, until a friend reached out with a screaming deal on his M11p. I bought the camera thinking I'd just try it out and I haven't put it down since. For me it's the convenience factors that are such a massive improvement - namely the fantastic battery life and the ability to charge via USB-C. I was just on a trip in Montana and found myself chasing some incredible light through the valley. At my first stop I rushed out to get a shot and then the camera stopped - dead battery! And I left my spare back in the Airbnb, argh! I would have been completely stuck with my M10s, but with the M11p this was no problem. I was able to charge the camera in my car using the cable I use to charge my phone and ended up getting some of the best shots of the trip. The one thing I'd love to see them improve on the M11p - my only "complaint" - is the startup time. And really, that's something I can manage although it is annoying from time to time. Overall it's a fantastic camera, and the one that has me finally fully committed to the M system.
