petereprice Posted Tuesday at 09:17 PM Share #1 Posted Tuesday at 09:17 PM Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, I recently purchased a brand new Leica M11-P from a Leica Boutique overseas and noticed that the product designation does not reflect US, EU, CN (I'm based in the US). It has the product region designation ROW which I believe stands for Rest of the World. If I registered this product under my Leica US account, and lets say I need a warranty service done down the road, will the Leica US Service honor the warranty and do the service there if they are capable, or does this automatically get sent to Germany because of it's ROW designation, effectively increasing the repair time. Would love to know if anyone has run into this and what their experience is with warranty and service for out of US versions of Leica hardware service when based in the US. Thanks!
