Newbie, quick question, reviewing digital zoom images on the screen

Hi, just received my q3 and have a question I can’t find the answer to.

If I’m using RAW only, and take a picture using the digital zoom, is the a way to view just the zoomed in area when reviewing on the back of the screen?

Currently, I’m seeing the full photo with a box around the zoomed image.

I'm new to the Q3 series as well, but I believe the only way to do this is to shoot raw + jpeg, or just jpeg.

Thanks, I was thinking that might be the only way as well, but if we are wrong someone with more experience will be along shortly.

I don't believe so. As a pedant, I would point out it is a 'crop' and not a 'zoom'.

You're may be technically correct, but Leica refers to it as "digital zoom."
