The fact that the iso dial does not have a lock is criminal

The only lock affects all wheel dials.

+1. Strange that Leica doesn't opt for locking/deactivating that wheel. Also ackward position, but that's something else...

(Another ackward decision/position, in my view, is SL2's back buttons located on the right of the screen, whereas the hand that (has to) operate the camera is fixed on cameras right side).

At least they recognised that was a poor choice, and changed it for the SL3 (and Q3). It is so much easier.

Probably after years of shooting the M10, M10-R and now M11, the SL2 rear button placement on the rear left, just seemed natural to me. When operating the SL3 with those buttons now on the opposite side of all of these other Leica cameras I shoot, I found it an easy accommodation. Shooting side by side M11, SL2, SL3 I don't find any great advantage to having these buttons on either side over the other.

With that said, maybe it was majority customer feedback that lead to those buttons on the right rear side of the SL3. Or was it more about accommodating the tiltable screen on the SL3?
