tripc0de Posted September 30 Share #1 Posted September 30 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have just noticed some clouding on my TL2 screen. The glass seems to be super sensitive. It's been transported in a proper camera bag but doesn't have a screen protector. The only thing I can think of is that it's been micro scratched by the plastic of a lens sitting next to it in transit. It's pretty new. The clouding isn't visible when you turn the screen on. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solution? Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Advertisement Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Hi tripc0de, Take a look here Clouding on TL2 Screen . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tripc0de Posted September 30 Author Share #2 Posted September 30 You can see the clouding on the dark part of the screen above. It doesn't feel like scratches. Looks more like smudges but won't come off. Also I see there are replacement units online with varying prices.... This one for £50 but doesn't seem to have the Leica wording on it. https://www.aliexpress.com/i/1005003822829341.html And this one that does. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009832288538.html Which is £150. I am a bit annoyed that the TP2 screen seems so soft and sensitive. Could Leica not have made it more resilient and provided a protector for it?
