I've only used mine with my M10R (which I've owned for approx. 1.5 years. It was used by the previous owner; however, who knows how often. It's broken in really nicely though.

Aside from the leather lug guards/rings kinda looking like wrinkly hot garbage, the rest of the strap still looks quite nice, with the main difference being how supple and non-stiff the strap feels the more it's used, easily wrapping around the lens for storage.

I’ve had mine on my m10 since new 2017. It softens - but patina? Not really. It’s a shitty leather composite, afaik.

Neither the m10 (silver or black chrome) nor the strap is really made to age like good denim, work boots or a black paint finish camera.

They both do the jobs of recording photos and keeping the camera off the ground quite nicely though.

I bought my M10 right after launch in 2017 and have used it a lot. For a short period, I tried the 14312 strap because of the anti-slip pad, but then I went back to the original one because it slipped off my shoulder anyway. I like the original strap because it's so soft and easy to fold up in my bag. I think it has become even softer over the years, but otherwise it is holding up very well.
