luisdent Posted September 15 Share #1 Posted September 15 Advertisement (gone after registration) I played around with some leica looks on my Q3, and now even when I want to I can no longer remove them. Is there some way to disable Leica looks completely? And any JPEG processing? My issue is that it affects my preview in the EVF. It also affects the preview built-in Lightroom. When I switch to the develop tab I see the correct raw image, but in the library I see the gross JPEG preview that has the style applied to it. I would like to simply disable all looks, and JPEG processing and just see the raw image in the EVF and in Lightroom previews...
Advertisement Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Hi luisdent, Take a look here Help with looks. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Tarekith Posted September 15 Share #2 Posted September 15 Set your look to STD for standard (the default in the camera), and you can also disable jpeg shooting and only shoot RAW.
luisdent Posted September 15 Author Share #3 Posted September 15 That was the first thing i tried, but the previews and evf are still very different. They look like they have a color chrome effect with more contrast and blue color.

I think you sent me on the right track. However, I had five leica looks loaded onto the camera, so the STD option wasn't available. For anyone having this issue, you need to connect to the Leica fotos app and then go to the settings gear and there's an option there to edit and remove the looks. Once you remove the existing looks the STD option becomes available. Or you can simply remove them all and the camera will disable the looks altogether. Trankster Posted September 15 Share #5 Posted September 15 You might check the EVF settings for color rendering and brightness and adjust to your liking. See page 66 of the user manual. Save this and your other custom settings as a profile.

I'm honestly not sure what you're doing, it's impossible to remove the STD look.
LocalHero1953 Posted September 16 Share #7 Posted September 16 Advertisement (gone after registration) Perhaps scroll down on the list of looks? Standard might be on the next page.

The defaults including Std cannot be removed and are always available, irrespective of Leica Looks.
