Hi,

is there a way to transfer the full size (4.9MP) 2560x1920 pixel images from the Sofort 2 to the mobile via Leica Foto App? The images transferred are 800x600 pixels only.

Or do I need to take out the SD card for this to transfer to my computer?

Regards,

Ralf

Unfortunately, not via the Leica FOTOS app on a smartphone. I recently saw a video on Graham Houghton's YouTube channel where he shows how digital images can be transferred from a memory card to a smartphone using certain card readers and/or cables. He gives examples when using older digicams. This for iOS and Android smartphones. Then you must remove the SD card from the SOFORT 2. I usually take out the micro SD card and transfer the images to my computer, which allows me to edit them a little. I'm using an iPhone and with Airdrop I can sent the edited pictures from my Mac to my iPhone.

Best

Thanks, this is kind of a bummer IMO, what am I expected to do with 600x800 size images on my phone?

So I took out the card, got it into a SD card size micro-SD holder and transferred to my computer to then add the full size images to iPhoto. Ok, at least this is working.

Would be so much better to at least give the option to transfer the full-size images to the phone. Handling a micro-SD card is really not pleasant.

Regards,

Ralf
