Kitze Posted September 5 Share #1 Posted September 5 Advertisement (gone after registration) I did the 3.1.1 firmware upgrade - many new great features, but something seemed broken with the Thumbwheel custom setting. When I go to 4. Customize Control - Wheel Assignment and select Exp. Comp., the Thumbwheel is stuck at ISO no matter what I try to do. It's locked on that setting. I tried turning off everything but Exp. Comp. in the Customize Control - Thumbwheel Button ON/OFF toggles, but ISO is "Active" (tried changing modes to release this, too!) and can't be turned off. Maybe I'm not understanding the process correctly. NOTE: I just found the solution. Depress the Thumbwheel Button and HOLD IT DOWN. The menu will appear to allow selection of Exp. Comp. Select it and it works! Hopefully, this helps other users.

I never go the menu to set that button
Kitze Posted September 8 Author Share #3 Posted September 8 It probably always was the case but everything got reset with the upgrade. Maybe this note will save others an hour of digging around tp remember, since that's a set and forget funtion.
