Here's some Fujifilm Capture One Styles specifically colour graded for the Leica Q3.

I developed these Leica Q3 presets from scratch using comparable landscape images & CC test targets taken on the XT5 with XF18mm f2.

  • Fuji Acros Red
  • Fuji Astia
  • Fuji Classic Chrome
  • Fuji Classic Negative
  • Fuji Eterna
  • Fuji Nostalgic Negative
  • Fuji Provia
  • Fuji Reala Ace
  • Fuji Velvia

Enjoy and tweak to taste!

Thanks a lot, I was just posting how I wished Leica would support something like the Fuji Film Simulations in C1.

As a total sucker for film presets I cant thank you enough for your time and effort, will download and test them.

Update, I just checked them out and really enjoy the look.

And no, I really dont wanna be the nitpicky asshat that complains about something great someone else has done and given you for free, but there seems to be brightness problem with classic crome and reala ace and maybe arcos red, they make the image WAY too dark, especially when compared to the other styles. talking about something like 1,5 - 2 stops too dark.

Sorry and thanks again

Interesting, as I tweaked by measurement the luma curve and DR of the Leica files to match XT5 files greyscales (Colorchecker/Gretag shots). I'll take a another look, don't worry about being nitpicky, that's how we learn!

I had a quick look at the presets and did some very minor Luma curve adjustments, nothing that would account for 1.5-2 stops variation. I assume you are applying these to unmodified Q3 DNGs, using the default ICC profile (Leica Q3 Pro Standard) and Auto curve.

Anyhow, thanks for your feedback and here’s a zip with latest 12 presets including my attempt at Eterna Bleach Bypass.

I found what cause the extreme darkening of those styles, not sure how or why tho.
I tried all different combinations of ICC profiles and curves, but it didnt chance a thing.
Then I realized I had raised the exposure a bit and c/p it to all the other DNGs in that session.

If the dng is TOTALLY untouched they work perfectly fine.

But once you raised exposure before applying the style those three styles start to go down in brightness.

Lowering the exposure didnt seem to have any impact, only raising.

The more you raise the exposure before applying them the more drastic the effect, at least in the pictures I tested it.

And thanks for the preset pack. Will test it now.

Update: I deleted all styles and imported all the new ones, same thing, but now that I know what caused the effect I can work around it.

And thanks, damn they look good!

Glad you got it sorted.

I've been working on a set of C1 presets to match the Q3 in-camera jpegs, these are very challenging and still way off publishing!

Making a Leica look like a Fuji is utter and complete heresy.

There should be a firmware lock against these practices!

😉😀

Haha. - I spent time trying to make a fujifilm film sim look like Leica.    But nothing beats the original.
