Last year I found a black laquer wood presentation box and since then I have been searching to which camera it belongs. I own 8  limited edition M6 and MP's from the 90's till the MP ROC edition of 2012, and the closest match could be a late 90's or millenium edition. The box is heavy and the cover is heavier than the bottom which causes the box to fall over when opening without camera inside. It is probably for a camera body without lens. Any ideas ?

The "Ein Stück" box top and bottom are not square and has a different inside to put the camera + lens. See picture of the inside.

My unknown box is also finished in Chinese style glossy laquer, while the "Ein Stück" has a glossy paint finish. You van see the difference on the picture. I thonk the bow must have been for a M6 intended for the Asian market. It's NOT for the M6 TTL "Dragon" millenium either, because I also own that one and it's not the same box.
