AndrewPiper Posted July 28 Share #1 Posted July 28 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys.. If this has been asked previously Im sorry but i couldnt see anything directly relating to my question. I currently have a Q343 and have read alot of the X2D..ok with differing lenses obviously Ive been looking at an X2D [second hand] as a replacement for the Q3. Not because I dont like the Leica but as something else to try..OK a very first world problem, that I accept. Dont require video. Obviously there is a physical size difference and 60 verses 100mp. Im interested to hear from members who have made the change and what your thoughts were...good and bad. Thank you all in advance and kind regards from New Zealand. I’m not entirely sure these are comparable. I don’t have any version of the Q, but I do have an X2D with one lens - the 38V. I am trialing it, to a degree, as I’m committed to the M system. I currently have in my bag the X2D and my Monochrom with a 50 Summilux ASPH. It’s a nice combination. Before commiting to the Hasselblad, you might like to consider that it’s bigger, heavier and being medium format, really better for wider lenses. That said, if you go for the 55v, it will have a very similar field of view to your Q3 43. I love my X2D.
Olaf_ZG Posted July 28 Share #4 Posted July 28 I guess it depends on what you want from your camera, but it is all discussed in the thread @frame-it mentions.
