I have it, really a great backpack. So far, I have used it only on day hikes and have not traveled with it.

Mine is equipped with medium RCI, which fits SL2, two APO primes, and three zooms. Still some space left in the main compartment for other gear, and other spaces in the backpack can be utilized for a bit of snacks and extra clothing.

I like that the material used for the outer shell is recycled from old fishing nets.

Thanks Filip! I have been using one of two EVOC bags for bikepacking, and I am not in love with them, room for the camera, but not much as far as lenses go, I was looking for the next size up. The NYA looks neat, I could get the 36 and if I need a bigger bag I could reuse the insert, I think. I try to put all the heavy stuff on the bike, so just water and a layer or two plus camera in the bag on these trips.

Would you mind showing a pic of the camera in the bag? If you do not have time, no worries at all.

Cheers,

-Joe

Silly question, but I received my Nya fjord 36 and it looks like they updated the bag and got rid of the hydration bladder access. The only spot for the hose to exit is on the side and I don’t see any hose clips. If your bag is like this, do you use a water bladder(camelback), if so how ?

Thanks!

-Joe

Some initial pics with the Leica SL3 and a few lenses. The NYA- EVO 36 is a well built pack, it noticeable is  heavy, the zippers are big, in fact it feels more like luggage then a backpack. I got the medium insert, which is very padded and inspires confidence, it has tons of inserts to make it fit anyway you want. It seems like it will be a bit time consuming, it seems tight with the medium insert in it.  I'll see how it works on a hike this weekend. Thinking less of a mountain bike or hike with friends bag and more of a go for a hike solo to take landscapes pack.

One pic of the weird exit of the hydration hose, I honestly don't think it is meant for that use, the hose would just loop everywhere.

I have removed all of the "flaps" of the insert and integrate it with the backpack, now, when I open the back access all of the gear is directly accessible. Overdue photo attached, this is my full gear setup, and medium insert fits sl2 with attached lens, two apo's 24-90, 16-35 and 90-280, blower. In upper compartment there is filters pouch, small first aid kit, hoods and I can fit some pano gear.

Thanks Filip!

After going on a pretty fun adventure with it today I like it more, it holds the camera and lots of gear securely. It is a bit difficult to get the camera out, I just have to figure out how to open the back panel with it on my waist without it flopping down.
