LezShoot Posted July 5 Share #1 Posted July 5 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm thinking about getting a D-Lux 109(cheaper atm than the lx100 on the open market), but how can I tell it's a full D-Lux & not a hybrid with LX100 parts or vice versa? I read that one way to know is the shape of the buttons. The thing I'm running into is, I see a few on the open market with the Leica buttons, but the thumb grip of the LX100 on the back. EVF housing might also be LX100, but it's not 100% clear. Were all the D-Lux 109s made in Japan or were some made in China? What about the LX100? Advertisement Posted July 5 Posted July 5 Hi LezShoot, Take a look here How to tell it's a D-Lux Hybrid?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted July 5 Share #2 Posted July 5 They are coproduced by Leica and Panasonic. The Leica version will bear the Leica name. I have the D-Lux 109 and it is excellent.
