Leica 13035

Would likely not work as just about any extension of the filter past the front of the lens will not allow the lens to go into macro mode with the stock/supplied Q3 43 lens shade (If the stock/supplied shade is replaced with either the Leica round shade (or a 3rd party varient) or a 3rd party Q3 (28) type hood with the threads machined for the Q3 43 (or some other method of having the correct final position of the hood) then any 49mm UV (or other) filter will work.

One issue with the filters that screw in flush with the lens could be the lack of the outer filter ring flange that allows a typical filter to be tightened (just snugly) on the lens.  The Tekiac and Nisi filters could (theoretically) be tightened enough to rub against the lens ring part that has the lens' name (Summilux, Summicron, f stop/focal length and LEICA) printed on it although there is a slight raised part of this ring just under the filter threads that the flush fitting filter might rest on.

I have not seen the Nisi filter but the Tekiac looks to have a very narrow ridge just inside the threads on the back that, when tightened, (just snugly - they warn you about over tightening) likely hits the front lens outer ring just above the printing and possibly on the thin raised portion mentioned above. In any event, with the Tekiac filter I can see all of the printing on the lens ring.

I did not know this was even an issue until I was made aware of the plausible "rubbing" from reading information about the Kase "Revolution" magnetic filters.  I do not have these filters but to use them, an adapter is screwed into the lens' filter threads and apparently if their 49mm Inlaid Adapter is used on the Leica Q cameras there was unwanted contact with the printing on lens front with the adapter ring (causing scratching? real or just theoretical?) and the company then added a foam circle to the back of the adapter to lessen any scratching.  If I had not heard about the added foam backing I would not have given any of this any though - would not have known.

The Kase system, although looking to be very useful for changing filters, would not work with the stock/supplied Q3 43 lens hood to keep a UV filter on the lens all the time as the UV  (or any) filter added to the inlaid magnetic adapter ring would stick out too far.

One issue with the Tekiac filter (well known before buying) is that it really needs the supplied tool to remove/install the filter (the Nisi looks to have some machined spots to allow finger to move the filter?).  Since neither the Tekiac or Nisi filter have front threads they would have to be removed to use any other filter.  Not a big issue with the Tekiac filter but not as simple as with typical filter setups.
